One of the features is to allow us to save document files as a PDF file without the need of any add-in. The best thing about having documents saved in PDF format is it can be opened in other computer that has not Microsoft installed. It's easy to get your docs saved as PDF, just follow through the step-by-step guide. How to disable Yahoo messenger (YM) online conversation history Posted: 20 Nov 2010 06:11 AM PST Yahoo Messenger 11 beta was released a few days ago and we see a lot of exciting features being introduced. One thing that bother me is the availability of history chat feature. While it might serve excellent purpose for YM user who want to revisit their old chat messages, it may pose as a threat, say for example, someone is able to get into your computer and retrieve sensitive information out of your PC. It is pretty simple to turn this off but if you are not familiar with Yahoo Messenger preferences, you may end up using more time than you think. 1. Browse through Messenger > Preferences or alternatively Ctrl+Shift+P and YM preferences window will show up. 2. Now select the "conversation history", tick on "Do not keep a history of my conversations" option and apply the changes made. That's it! |
