OneNote 2010 is one several applications available in latest Microsoft Office 2010 suite and is dubbed as one of the best note taking application with a lot of features. BackBoard is a useful free application that allows you to backup your iPhone home screen within seconds. The application that available through Cydia under ModMyi repository makes it easy to switch between multiple Springboard backups. To those who may not know, Geohotz is the person who is working out the unlock solution on the iPhone and recently found to be having a couple of domains Rubysn0w.com & Rubyra1n.com that could be the next tools for unlocking and jailbreaking the iPhone. The term ra1n is associated to jailbreak solution whilst the sn0w term is associated to the unlock solution. What's more interesting is that Geohot has registered both limera1n.com and rubyra1n.com at the same date (March 27th 2010). Recently Steven Troughton-Smith discovered a way to get into DFU mode in iPod Nano which opens wide possibility of running custom applications. According to James, to get into the DFU mode, you need to press and hold the restart button simultaneously until the blank screen appears and the device is detected by iTunes. Steven modified the iRecovery tool to allow file sending and tested it by sending some files he extracted from iPod nano 6G FW. Unfortunately, his trials are not fully successful because some of the files get rejected due to unsigned or invalid format. Jailbreaking iPod Nano seems possible and whether it could be realized in the near future is a different story but we hope to hear some good news in coming weeks. Lets hope for the best.    |
