Google Maps for Android app has finally received the latest version 5.4 which comes along with several new features including enhanced details for businesses, search history viewing and now you are able to report incorrect details on the map.

The second feature will definitely come handy to those who run Google Maps on devices such as laptop or mobile device. In version 5.4, all your search results in Google Map will be stored in your Google Web History (Google account). So you don't have to worry when you switch devices.

While people were expecting iOS 4.3.3 to be released within a week or two, Apple decided to release it yesterday. iOS 4.3.3 for iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad is released to fix the location tracking bug. Along with the main fix is several minor changes in iOS 4.3.3 which include

  • Cache is not backed up in iTunes
  • Deletes the cache entirely when locations services is turned off
  • Smaller cache size
