Google has also unveiled the Acer Chromebook (smaller and lighter) along with a Samsung Chromebook which offers cool features as the Samsung counterpart.

Acer Chromebook which is equipped with 2 USB ports, HDMI, WIFI, webcam, a battery with 6.5 hours life and 11.6 inches display screen, promises to have a 8 second boot time.

[Google I/O 2011] Samsung Chrome OS Chromebook unveiled

It's official now that Samsung will be the one to bring out the first Chrome OS Chromebook. Google's Chrome OS will be running on the Samsung Series 5 Chromebook, and it is powered by Intel Atom processor, WiFi, 12.1 inches display screen, 2 USB 2.0 ports, optional 3G, trackpad, an HD webcam and a battery life that can last 8.5 hours.

Samsung Chromebook will be available starting from June 15 2011 in 7 countries and can be bought from BestBuy and Amazon. It will be priced at $ 429 for the WiFi version and $499 for 3G version.

After successfully launching Firefox 4 (stable), Mozilla is now working hard on the upcoming Firefox 5.0 and recently released a public Beta version of Firefox 5.0. Firefox 5.0 was on the Firefox Aurora channel for more less than 5 weeks and is now already beta channel.
