Avast, one of the well known free antivirus in the market, has finally reached version 6.0. The beta version of Avast 6 Antivirus (free), Avast Internet Security and Avast Antivirus (Pro) are currently available for download at the end of this article. Avast 6 is equipped with several new features such as Web reputation plug-in, AutoSandbox and SafeZone. A couple of features like site blocking and Web Script Shield that were previously only available in Avast 5 Pro are now employed in Avast 6 free version.

Basically, Site Blocking lets you block access to a specified URL or a site whilst Web Script Shield scans and intercepts any scripts executed on your system.

New features of Avast 6
