How To Use Custom Google Font on Customized Blogger Template?

On my previous post about More Fonts for Blogger Template, we can use this various fonts directly ONLY IF we use default template from Blogger Template Designer feature.

But most of Blogger user, use customized template so can not use this font directly. I'm sure you don't want to mess up your current blog design, but really want to change my fonts. This is step how to change fonts with Google fonts.



  1. Go to Google Font Directory, choose the font you may interested in. For this example, I choose Crafty Girls Font Family.
  2. Click on Use this font menu. To embed font into your web page copy the following code under every font. IMPORTANT NOTE : On Google font directory, the original code is <link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Crafty+Girls' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'> , remember to add "/" character before closed tag, so the result code is <link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Crafty+Girls' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'/>
  3. Open Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML, then paste copied modified code put before <b:skin><![CDATA[/* on EDIT HTML template menu.
  4. Simply use the font in your CSS font stack like any other font, for example, if you want to use it on Post Title, find h3 css code then insert the font family. For example : .post h3 { 'Crafty Girls', Arial, Verdana;} . Remember you can use this wherever you want, on sidebar title (find .h2) , on post body (find .post-body) etc
  5. Click Save template button

Print from your phone with Google Cloud Print and Gmail for mobile

You just received an important attachment through your smartphone from your boss and it needs to be printed out as soon as possible. Wouldn't it be easier if we could print out whatever docs right from your phone. It is possible with the Gmail for mobile and Google Cloud Print service. This service basically allows you to print from any application on any device, browser or OS without the need to install drivers.

First you need to connect your printer to Google Cloud Print. As this article is written, it can only be setup on Windows but it will become available on Mac and Linux soon. Once you're with this step, visit gmail.com from your iPhone or Android browser and choose "Print" from the dropdown menu in the top right corner. You can also print eligible email attachments such doc or pdf files by simply clicking on the "Print" link that appears next to them.

This feature will be rolled out within few days. While waiting the feature to be available, you can learn more in the Google Cloud Print help center.

Is Facebook testing Voice Chat feature?

Ridiculous rumor about Facebook is shutting down spreading fast on the internet, but as just a school kid could tell; it is clearly a prank. How could a website worth billions of dollar want to pull the plug and erase itself off the history? In fact Facebook is expanding itself; we could see its own email service and it is recently noticed that Facebook is testing Voice Chat feature.

Multiple Mashable readers have sent in pictures of what appears to be a "call" button that shows up when viewing other people's profiles, though it's not yet clear what exactly the button enables (one tipster said it initiated a voice call but didn't connect to anyone).

Giving the fact that Facebook is currently working on the release of its new Facebook Messages product that will put IM, e-mail and texting under one roof, it seems logical for Facebook to introduce VoIP service. This will definitely give a tough competition to Gmail voice call that recently offers free phone calls in the Canada and the United States throughout 2011.

PS3 Firmware 3.56 jailbreak available

It is really surprising to learn that after few hours of Sony releasing an official PS3 firmware update version 3.56 yesterday, the new patch is again jailbroken. The official PS3 firmware update version 3.56 is meant for fixing the previous jailbreak holes. Even though we know it can be jailbroken we still don't know whether the jailbreak allows us to play online or otherwise.

The new update PS3 firmware 3.57 will probably be released by Sony in the coming weeks.
