Official: Verizon iPhone 4 launches February 10

Verizon confirms its partnership with Apple in an event in New York. This partnership marks a multi year non exclusive deal which will commence on February 10 2011.

This breaking news is already reflected on Verizon website where the customers can preorder iPhone Feb 3rd onwards at $299 and $200 for the respective iPhone 32GB and iPhone 16GB on a 2 years contract.

Verizon iPhone 4 will be connecting to CDMA and not LTE which means iPhone will fully take advantage of its 4G network capability. Apart from that, it can also function as a 3G hotspot enabling you to connect to several Wifi enabled devices

Here is another update for Redsn0w 0.9.7 (Redsn0w 0.9.7b6); not long after Redsn0w 0.9.7b5 was released recently. The latest update of Redsn0w 0.9.7 fixes Skype issues on iDevices. Some of you might be expecting this update will be available on Windows platform but it is only available for Mac OS X users. Hoepfully in the next version, the target is to add iOS 4.1 monte so no more use of pirate iOS 4.2b3 to untethered jailbreak iOS 4.2.1.

The sixth beta is now available (testers ONLY please!). This version fixes Skype. Please do not pirate the 4.2b3 IPSW! Only those enrolled in the iPhone Developer program have legitimate access to that IPSW using these links (http://pastie.org/1403214) (the links won't work unless you're a legit developer currently logged in).

Unlike the last few betas, you can freely run beta6 over beta5 without a problem (but for testing purposes, we'd really like people to try both ways….from stock, and from already jailbroken).

Now that the sandbox, Bluetooth, and Skype issues are fixed, our next priority is porting Monte back to 4.1. We'll also try to make the Windows version less painfully slow.

In order to untethered jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 you can follow our guide (but skip step 4) because it doesn't require usbmuxd.
